Attraction and Retention Incentive (ARI)
An ARI of $11,000 p.a. has been approved and is payable to Dental Officers who are engaged in the Southwest before 31 January 2025. The ARI is payable in three instalments subject to meeting eligibility requirements.
About this role
The Head of Unit directs and controls the operations of the general dental clinic. As well as managing the clinic and maintaining equipment, you will also provide routine and advanced clinical treatment to eligible patients.
This role reports to the Regional Dental Officer.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Dentist, eligible for registration with the Dental Board of Australia. You will have well-developed communication skills and thrive working as part of a small team to deliver high-quality oral healthcare, including education.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
