About the Role The Hire Controller is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities and maintaining our existing customer relationships.
Along with this, the Hire Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Networking and negotiating with companies for hire opportunities. Developing new hire leads outside of the Group's current customers. Building and maintaining all key relationships with all stakeholders to the business. Liaising with the team including branch managers, drivers, and service people to ensure that equipment is available, maintained, and ready to be delivered to our customers. Processing hires, off hires, transfers, and exchanges using Hire Industry Software. Maintaining a good and up-to-date knowledge of our range of equipment to help find the best solutions for our customers. About You Previous experience in a customer service role with a genuine interest in helping others. Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities. Excellent written, verbal, and record-keeping skills. Mechanically minded (desirable ). Intermediate computer & MS Office skills. Current driver's license (essential ).
