Families are well serviced by a choice of high-quality schools and a wide range of sporting clubs with excellent facilities.Cardiac Services at Mackay Base Hospital is currently staffed with FTE 5.0 Cardiologists (4 x Interventional & 1 x Non-Interventional), 6 Principal House Officers/Registrars (including 2 x Advanced Trainees), 4 Junior/Senior House Officers, and 3 interns and provides cardiology services to a local population of 180,000. The department is accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) for cardiology advanced training status. A wide range of cardiology diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are provided including Echo, TOE with 3D capacity, stress echo, Dobutamine, CTCA, Cardiac MRI, coronary intervention, and pacing device implantation.Salary InformationTotal remuneration value of up to $514,452 (L27) is comprised of: A salary between $244,201 - $258,910 (L25-L27)Total remuneration value of up to $470,780 (L24) is comprised of: A salary between $204,206 - $237,196 (L18-L24)Other Benefits Include 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 17.5% leave loading is paid for 4 weeks leave Generous Salary Sacrificing (conditions apply) Professional Development Leave 3.6 weeks p.a.
