Build and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate deals and ensure customer satisfaction.Provide and manage bins/drums for customers to unload material for weighing.Inspect and photograph incoming material for documentation and quality control purposes.Tip material into designated bays/bins according to its purchased grade.Collaborate with secondary Buyers to expand knowledge about Non-Ferrous Grading and Pricing.Safely and securely send material to other Sell & Parker yards as needed.Thoroughly inspect material for contamination before tipping it into bays/bins.Ensure all grades are weighed separately and properly segregated.Assist Secondary Buyers as required.Sort and wrap various types of batteries (Lead Acid, Gel, Industrial, etc.).Oversee monthly stocktake of Non Ferrous shed.Review the grading of non-ferrous metals, ensuring material purchased/processed/shipped meets standards for grading, pricing and environmental safety.First point of contact for customers to resolve disputes, escalate to management when required.Clear and tangible opportunity for advancement into supervisory role within Non Ferrous department.Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in Metal, Manufacturing or Mining IndustryStrong problem-solving abilities.High level organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.Surface-level understanding of metals and batteries is desired.A forklift license (LF) is required.Attention to detail is essential.About Us Since 1966, Sell & Parker Metal Recycling Services has been a trusted Australian-owned and operated company specialising in scrap collection and recycling.
