DUTIES Works closely with office staff and maintains confidentialityPerforms administrative duties and supports Gator Success Center eventsProvides peer coaching, tutoring, and mentoring to students individually or in groups through presentations, workshops, outreach activities, and/or other programming focused on learning strategies and student support and servicesCo-facilitates student groups and/or workshopsLeads and/or assists senior staff with student events, projects, and/or the use or development of new student success and student engagement materialsMaintains up-to-date information on student services and resourcesResponds to student questions in a professional and timely mannerProvides support to students in learning how to make good choicesAssists with retention efforts of FTIC students and creates student caseload reportsAssists students with registering for coursesAll other duties as assignedQualifications Minimum of 30 completed credit hoursMust have a 2.5 GPA or higherAbout University of Houston Downtown Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024, the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is the second-largest university in Houston and has served the educational needs of the nation's fourth-largest city since 1974.
