About the role Our Little National Hotels are all about the little details making a big impact on our guest experiences. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing the hotel's daily operations revenue and expense transactions, the overall procedures and appearance of the overnight front desk team, all whilst creating little moments for guests that will keep them coming back for more.
We are looking for Full Time and Part Time capacity.
Responsibilities include: Complete night audit across hotel and successfully rolling in preparation for the next day's trading.Attend to guests' needs in accordance with the hotel's policies and procedures.Complete departure checks, early departures, overnight walk-ins and phone and email enquiries.Prepare all relevant reports for required departments.Maintain full knowledge of hotels rates, packages and special promotional activities.Accurately document detailed shift reports.Complete security walks of the property & public areas.What you will bring We constantly strive to find exceptional individuals who contribute to our team's success. Naturally, your previous years within a luxury hospitality setting will come highly regarded. As will the following:
Ability to work under minimal supervision, whilst maintaining confidentiality of guest information & hotel data.Situational awareness/strong decision-making abilities.Excellent personal presentation and presence.Strong attention to detail with a focus on numbers.Understanding of yield management with regards to maximizing occupancy & average rates of hotel.Availability to work a rotating roster including weekend shifts and public holidays.Willingness and ability to exceed expectations.Opera knowledge or desire to learn.Accounting Diploma or degree is preferred, though not essential.Current RSA Certification.Current First Aid Certification.Why you want to join our Team At Doma Hotels, our mission is to look after our people, who in turn, look after our guests.
