Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have the autonomy to manage your direct reports while working in a cohesive and inspirational management team.
This is an opportunity to make that transition from a manager to leader while being exposed to new career development opportunities both in Australia and overseas.
You will be responsible for: Ensuring highly efficient operation is in place consistentlyOverseeing quality, repairs and maintenance on gym floor and wet areasProviding leadership, motivation and innovation to the teamsRecruiting, training and developing staffProactively managing member feedbackEnsuring gym equipment is maintained to an excellent standardDelivering operational support to all fitness departments of group exercise, personal training, gym and swim schoolEnsuring the overall cleanliness and exceptional presentation of the health and fitness areasTo be successful in this role you will have: A passion for high quality customer serviceDemonstrated senior management of gym, group exercise and swim school programs, personal training while ensuring safety, growth and qualityProven ability to develop, propose and implement ideasExperience with setting and meeting performance targets and motivating staffPossess natural leadership qualitiesStrong interest and passionate about health & fitness industryThe ability to manage, mentor and motivate staffExperience managing public swimming facilitiesExtensive operational experience and team focused qualities.Education and qualifications: Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience within the industrySenior First Aid & CPRA current Working with Children clearanceRecognized health and fitness qualifications to a minimum level 4 (Australia only and NZ equivalent);Sound financial SkillsTertiary qualification within the Health/Fitness and Management field is favourablePlease note: Flexible hours and days are required for this roleProof of right to work in Australia/New Zealand documentation will be required to be presented at the first interviewwww.nextgenclubs.com.au
