Join Seven Network as our new Producer for News on the Gold Coast, on a 12-month contract basis! The Opportunity: As a Producer for our Gold Coast News Team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of news and entertainment for Seven Network on the Gold Coast.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside iconic household names and passionate professionals while experiencing the magic of your favorite news, sports, and entertainment shows. The fast-paced, rapidly evolving media industry will allow you to thrive and make a real impact on the lives of everyday Australians.
Reporting to the Director of News in QLD, you will primarily be responsible for developing and creating high-standard segments whilst utilising your creativity and original approach. Other responsibilities will include:
line-up producingsetting the direction for the day and providing guidance to the ReportersAbout You: You are an experienced Producer with a passion for storytelling, you possess exceptional interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a keen eye for detail. Your creativity, resourcefulness, and collaborative spirit allow you to work seamlessly with teams and stakeholders. Your self-motivation and innovative approach ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, always striving to deliver compelling narratives.
You will have: Demonstrated experience in a producing role, in a radio or television newsroom.Excellent writing skills and with an eye for detail and accuracyThe ability to respond to breaking news.Contribution of innovative ideas and a passion for entertaining and engaging television content.A solid understanding of media law and ethics.Why Seven Network?
