Flexible location, Darwin preferredEnsure the efficient running of the Darwin NewsroomFixed-term contract for approximately 3 months, immediate startThe Role Our busy NT Newsroom is seeking a News Co-ordinator to provide high level planning, logistics and resource allocation. This short term contract covering long term leave will give you the opportunity to work with the leadership team to ensure the efficient running of the Darwin Newsroom.The Job You will:Collaborate with the News Editor and leadership team to oversee newsgathering and production with an emphasis on News Operational areas.Under limited direction, provide high-level planning, logistics and resource allocation support for newsgathering, programs, and general and major events.Work collaboratively and communicate clearly with the NT News leadership team.In collaboration with the News Editor, ensure resources are assigned efficiently, whilst regularly reviewing practices.Position Description: 30007166 NEWS CO-ORDINATOR BACKFILL.pdfAbout You You are driven and super organised to juggle multiple priorities while working with tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high attention to detail.
