The Junior School Library Technician is responsible for assisting Teacher Librarian/s in providing library and information services to students and staff within the Junior School.

The position requires the use of a broad range of library and information management skills under limited supervision, while adhering to established procedures. Initiative and judgement are key components of the role in order to meet deadlines and achieve outcomes.
The Library Technician will support both the day-to-day operations of the library and provide guidance to students and volunteers when necessary. They are expected to maintain high levels of communication and interpersonal skills to ensure the smooth delivery of services. The role involves working closely with the Director of Junior School (Learning and Innovation) and Teacher Librarian/s to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
