The hospital encompasses 157 beds, 6 operating theatres, 10 bed ICU, with associated rehabilitation, medical and surgical wards.Your new role as Perioperative New Grad Nurse:Exciting opportunities available for highly motivated newly graduated Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative New Grad Program 2025!Our Program:Maitland Private Hospital offers a unique program allowing graduate nurses to rotate through & experience all areas of Perioperative nursing including PACU, Scrub/Scout & Anaesthetics.
It consists of 3 x 6 month rotations, on an 18 month fixed-term contract with a potential for permanent employment.
The position offered will be 0.8 FTE.About you (essential criteria):Completion of your Nursing Degree (Bachelor or Masters) prior to the commencement date.AHPRA registration prior to commencement.Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.Immunisation evidence (including COVID vaccination) and serology report.Previous under-graduate experience in a hospital setting.Selection Criteria:You're passionate about a career in perioperative nursing.Commitment to continuous quality improvement and safety.Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated clinical knowledge and clinical problem-solving abilities.Exhibit patient-centred care with an understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the role.Healthe Care is an equal opportunity employer.
