About the role: Join a highly collaborative team where you will provide management, development and support to Suncorp's strategic Network platforms including Switching and Routing, WiFi and Network Security. These technologies are critical in connecting and securing Suncorp's assets and systems to ensure our customers can securely access their applications.
What you'll do: Design, Build and Support the latest in networking technologies to support the wide variety of solutions for applications, staff and customers.Ensure that Suncorp maintains a high performing, highly available, and highly secure network environments. Effective delivery of operational and support services for the platform. Enhancing and streamlining operational activities to reduce effort, minimise complexity, reduce instances of error, or save money.Manage the daily operations (Testing, Pre-Production & Production Platform Support, Critical Incident Management, System Health Check & Monitoring, Change Management, System Upgrades and Maintenance) of our networking platforms.Drive, assist and contribute with investigations into potential solutions, liaise with relevant technical experts and contribute to solution design, costing and specifications.Create and maintain relevant documentation including Standard Operating Procedures for platform management and processes.Perform on-call support duties as required.What you'll bring: At least 3 years hands-on Network experience in a large organisation.Qualified as a Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) and ideally also hold a CCNP and CCDP qualification.Experience in managing some of the following products is desired:Routing Protocols – BGP and OSPFVRF and OTV ConfigurationMPLSQoSCisco Routing and Switching TechnologiesCisco Wireless – ISE and WLCsKnowledge of the OSI layers and good troubleshooting skills up to an application level with a proven ability to analyse packet captures.Strong presentation and written communication skills, ability to handle complexity.What we can offer you: Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About Suncorp: We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
