Network System Engineer

Our client based in the heart of Newcastle, who has doubled in size in the past 2 years. Is now looking to onboard a talented Network & Systems Engineer to join the team.
For this role we are looking for someone with strong networking capabilities using cisco & Ubiquiti (or other WIFI products). Along with this you must possess a strong knowledge of MS 365 products including Microsoft Defender.
In this position you will be responsible for the following: Network deployments, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting & supportOnsite & remote support directly to customersTo be successful in this role you will need to possess the following experience: 3-5 years experience in the MSP space or working as a Network/System Engineer roleStrong experience troubleshooting and configuring LAN, WAN, DNS and DHCP strong hands on experience Networking technologies such as WAP, Routers, Switches and Firewalls (including cisco, cisco meraki and ubiquity)Strong working knowledge of MS 365 products (office 365, windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft defender)Whilst this is a Network focused role we are looking for someone who has had experience with level 1/2 support around Wintel technologies and Microsoft Security.
This is a role which will grow with the company to one day lead the Network & Security team.
