Position: Network Engineers (Defence)
Location: Adelaide, SA
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Clearance: NV1 or Higher security clearance required
About the Role: We are seeking multiple Network Engineers (Mid, Senior, Architect levels) to join our client's Defence focused team on a Permanent basis in Adelaide (Northern Suburb). If you are passionate about network design, ICT security and contributing to critical Defence projects, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities: Design and analyse network architectures to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and efficiency.Review and refine technical documentation, ensuring precision and clarity in all deliverables.Conduct detailed requirements analysis, ensuring project specifications are met and traceability is maintained throughout.Manage and oversee change processes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to operational systems.Estimate, plan, and allocate tasks for small teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.Apply your deep understanding of ICT systems, including operating systems, virtualization and hardware infrastructures, to support network solutions.Safeguard network integrity by applying best practices in networking technologies and ICT security principles.Proven experience in network design and architecture analysis for high performing systems.Strong background in technical documentation review and enhancement.Expertise in requirements analysis and verification traceability.Ability to manage change processes and ensure smooth network transitions.Experience in planning and task estimation for team projects.In-depth understanding of ICT systems (operating systems, virtualisation, hardware infrastructures).Proficient in networking technologies and ICT security principles.Hands-on experience with tools such as:Cisco Routing & SwitchingBGPDell, HP, and Juniper switchesSecurity Requirement: This role requires NV1 security clearance or higher due to the nature of the projects within the Defence sector.
