We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude to drive the success of the team.The day to dayAssist with the surveillance and control of all activities associated with the operation of the Optus Satellite Network to meet customer needs and service availabilities.Assist in developing and maintaining a close working relationship with all Optus Satellite customers at a systems operations level.Interacting with Optus Satellite customers to rapidly diagnose and restore any service difficulties or impairment that arise on the Optus Satellite Network.Assist with the control, monitoring and fault management of TT&C and Department of Defence.Assist to ensure quality customer network service by monitoring planned work processes and assist in managing faults within service level guarantees.Proactively review processes and procedures for continuous improvement.Interaction with other work groups (internal and external customers).Why you are our next Network EngineerValid West Australian (or equivalent) Drivers Licence.Must be an Australian Citizen to apply for this role – A defence security clearance to the level of "NV1" is needed to work at Lockridge earth station.Extensive experience in the Telecommunications and Satellite Communications Industries.
