Our Cloud Infrastructure Services & Modern Work (CIS &MW) practice brings together the right technology, processes and culture to deliver business agility and cost reduction to our clients. We provide cloud focused client advisory and delivery services on areas such as hybrid cloud, workplace services, security, service desk and cloud service management/delivery.
Capgemini has proven experience in building cloud strategies that have enabled our clients to adopt a cloud-first approach to achieving their business objectives. Our Cloud Infrastructure Services enable enterprises to overcome the barriers to cloud adoption and manage the real business risks.
Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS)Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurationsMonitor performance and ensure system availability and reliabilityMonitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planningProvide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issuesWork within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructureSelect and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security teamLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionRequirements: Proven experience in a network administrator roleHands-on experience in networking, routing, and switchingExcellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructureExperience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolutionAbility to set up and configure server hardwareFamiliarity with backup and recovery software and methodologiesGreat at organizing, prioritizing, and multitaskingCiscoEducation and Experience: Cisco Certified Network Architect (CCNA) or higher.Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE) or higher.F5 Certified Load Balancer Administrator (F5-CA) or higher.Wireless networking certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Wireless or higher.Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSEAWS Certified Advanced Networking - SpecialitySkills and Competencies: Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardwareAbility to think through problems and visualize solutionsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsDependable and flexible when necessaryNetwork security experienceAbility to work independently under minimal supervision About Capgemini
