A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Network Engineer with strong core routing / switching, BGP / OSPF expertise and exposure to Multicast to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be joining a critical, fast-paced multi-year program which aims to build a new, best of breed trading network. Working with a team of Senior Engineers, you will be responsible for the build, deployment and support of this new network, working across multiple streams to ensure the project is delivered within tight deadlines.

To be successful in this role you will need: Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant vendor certificationsDemonstrated core network engineering delivery experience gained within large, complex environmentsSuperior knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPFPrevious experience working with Multicast routing and/or PIM Sparse Mode would be highly regardedKnowledge or experience with IGMPGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently as requiredPassion to learn and grow your technical skillsetThis is a Sydney based role and requires candidates to attend the office three days per week.
