We are seeking a Network Specialist to join a team of Network Designers within the telecommunications sector. Your main responsibilities will include reviewing and developing standards and processes, identifying innovative opportunities for projects, and recommending improvements. This is a Queensland based role, you will be required to work on site both intercity and rurally.
Role Requirements: Produce accurate and efficient complex designs, cost estimates, and feasibility studies. Provide expert advice and support to other designers.Design optical fiber cable networks, both within and outside the design team.Oversee training, updates, and briefings to ensure understanding of processes and procedures for professional team.Engage with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a quality product that meets customer requirements.Identify innovation opportunities and recommend improvements for projects.Identify, document, and review design processes in accordance with current business rules and quality processes.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and processes. Technical Capabilities: Extensive knowledge and experience in the design of optical fiber cable networks.Demonstrated experience in a technical environment, including understanding of core design and construction activities, technical standards, and work flow.Ideally experience in rural and greenfield design projects.Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a proactive nature and a commitment to achieving results.Strong stakeholder management skills, including establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
