We seek the elusive Purple Unicorn, an experienced human resources professional who likes to influence and guide the leaders in developing their teams.
This role is truly customer-focused HR end-to-end service. Based in Adelaide, the company is a global manufacturer within the FMCG product industry. This role will be providing the Group function for ANZ with assistance, coaching, and development. Within the Group functions within the ANZ, this would be working closely with: Supply Chain (includes Logistics and warehousing), Commercial Finance, Group Procurement, Engineering, Technical, and the Quality teams.
By using your experience and knowledge of IR/HR practices, you can work with the team from an Australia and New Zealand perspective to support a variety of HR-based projects and the true transactional IR/HR elements of running busy manufacturing facilities.
Its aim is to support the people managers, coaching where appropriate to ensure accurate workforce planning while seeing the bigger picture of development and change management initiatives. Enable succession Planning for key roles and help engage the team to deliver a great employee work-life experience from their first day on the job onboarding and inductions to the end of a long career with the company.
This role would suit someone who can lead and coach the leaders and be responsible for the true transitional IR/HR elements. Think on your feet, apply common sense, and work with manual processes while being organised and bringing positivity to the group.
This role would suit someone with the following:
Strong background in an IR/HR Generalist or Advisor capacity Advanced knowledge of IR/HR practices, principles and employment law Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business. Develop, engage, and build or transform the right culture to match the business' culture. Previous Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not essential. White-collar experience preferred. A bachelor's degree or diploma in HR is a must-have. Career development and long-term global exposure within this global manufacturing leader are on offer.
