Our Network Compliance team is growing, and we're looking for a passionate Network Connection Coordinator to drive safety and compliance in customer connection projects.
Your new role As the Network Connection Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of customer connection projects during the construction phase.
Reporting to the Field Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
On-Site Inspections: Ensure Level 1 ASP construction work adheres to compliance standards with all contestable work requirements. Program, Coordinate and Facilitate: Coordinate monopoly functions associated with Level 1 Contestable works. Incident Investigations: Lead investigations on ASP non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions. On-site Safety Audits: Oversee ASP work to ensure it meets Ausgrid's safety and environmental management plans, as well as Electrical Safety Rules. With training in Restricted Operating, you'll also gain limited operation access to Ausgrid's Distribution Network, enhancing your technical skills in this high-impact field.
To be successful, you'll have: NSW Office of Fair-Trading Qualified Supervisors Certificate – Electrical. Qualified Tradesmanship - Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent). Knowledge of NSW Service Provider Accreditation schemes and organisation's Service Provider Authorisation process. Proven experience in electrical distribution network construction, including construction, operation, testing, and maintenance of the electricity system, with knowledge of the organisation's distribution and sub-transmission systems. Strong understanding of statutes, regulations, and procedures, including safe work practices, network standards, codes of practice, and Electrical Safety Rules.
