A Chapter lead sets the standards for the chapter area and takes responsibility for developing, innovating, and safeguarding knowledge in the field of expertise to deliver technical activities related to the continuous delivery of working services for the organization and its customers. Develops and leads people to meet both their individual goals, career goals, and the organization's goals. Delivers and maintains IT applications and services in order to realize the organization's strategy in the field of information technology.
This is a leadership role within the Private Cloud - Infrastructure Tribe, designed to provide accountability for the management of the related services and support an agile working environment.
The role also has primary responsibility to ensure the Network services and Network security are integrated into IT Security and IT Service Management functions, ensuring Incident and Problem resolution within agreed SLA's, with a focus on Service restoration and resolution. It has responsibility for managing the related infrastructure services, including risks, compliance, and managing disaster recovery.
What you'll do: Design and deliver the next generation technology to support the Bank's services to our customers, including Global ING and cloud technologies.Manage end-to-end Network solutions from ING, from wireless to express routes.Support your team to deliver projects and initiatives through effective people management.Oversee Network IT Health and BAU processes (vendor support, system maintenance, incident and problem management), risk, security, and LCM of the technology assets.Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation across all technologies under your domain and share knowledge effectively.Represent the team and the tribe in engaging with other technology and business stakeholders to define and deliver critical projects.Track and prioritize BAU workloads and project work to ensure timely and quality delivery.What we're looking for: Deep knowledge and understanding of Network technology, including Firewalls PaloAlto, Advanced routing (BGP, OSPF), F5 Load Balancers and WAF, Cisco routing, switching, and wireless.Experience leading a team of engineers.Familiarity with mission-critical environments and high-performance networks.Exceptional stakeholder management skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills.A self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritize to achieve exceptional outcomes while working with moving targets and proficiency in scheduling releases based on urgency/priority.What's in it for you?
