The Role: Cognizant is seeking a L3 Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation.
In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to: Perform network configuration changes in accordance with change management process.Create and maintain network documentation as it relates to network configuration, network diagrams and processes.Ensure that all processes and procedures have been implemented and documented.Participate in shift work and regular weekend work.To apply for this role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, network hardware for on-prem & Azure cloud.Efficiency in working with F5 LTM & APM related tasks and incidents.Wireless troubleshooting.Hands-on experience in Load balancing (F5) - LTM & APM.Work on firewall and infrastructure capacity management.Strong skills in switching/routing and implementing changes as necessary.Hands-on experience with Meraki APs/Firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, FortiGate Firewall and Cisco FTD firewalls.Ability to work on routing protocols like OSPF & BGP and troubleshoot LAN & WAN environments.Familiarity with software upgrades for Cisco switches, routers, F5.Hands-on experience with Cisco Umbrella, ACI & SMA/WSA is a plus.Hands-on experience with SolarWinds and other monitoring tools.You'll receive an excellent salary and benefits package for your knowledge, expertise, and flexibility.
