The Role: Cognizant is seeking a L3 Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient data communications network.
The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to: Perform network configuration changes in accordance with change management process.
Create and maintain network documentation as it relates to network configuration, network diagrams and processes.
Ensures that all process and procedures have been implemented and documented.
Participate in shift work and regular weekend work.
To apply for this role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: Strong understanding of network infrastructure, network hardware for on-prem & Azure cloud.
To be efficient to work with F5 LTM & APM related tasks and Incidents.
Wireless troubleshooting Hands on in Load balance (f5) - LTM & APM.
Work on firewall and infrastructure capacity management.
Strong in Switching / routing and implement changes as necessary.
Hands-on in Meraki APs/Firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, FortiGate Firewall and Cisco FTD firewalls.
Should have ability to work on routing protocols like OSPF & BGP and troubleshoot LAN & WAN environment.
Should be familiarized in Software upgrades for Cisco switches, routers, F5.
Hands-on with Cisco Umbrella, ACI & SMA/WSA is an added.
Hands-on with SolarWinds and other monitoring Tools.
