This business is part of a multinational group and has invested significantly in its IT environment, allowing for further growth that is underpinned by a reliable, well-supported and modern technology stack.The OpportunityReporting to the Australian Head of IT, the Network Administrator will play a crucial role in the administration, configuration and maintenance of the network (both cloud and on-prem), is reliable and efficient. This business is a Microsoft house, where all of the modern MS technologies are utilised (D365, O365, Windows, Azure etc).Some of the key tasks aligned to this role include:Provide End-User support for complex issues with hardware and software and peripheral technologies.Management of networks/infrastructure including Switches, Routing & Firewalls.Administration of network security including virus protection, data loss protection (DLP), email & web filters and gateways.Maintain and support Windows Servers as well as Azure Cloud services and Azure Active Directory.Perform software, firmware and hardware updates periodically.Maintain the IT Asset register.Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as implementations & upgrades, including rolling out digital and Operational Technologies.The Successful ApplicantWill hold a tertiary qualification in IT or Computing, bring expertise with Windows servers as well as Azure cloud and associated products, have broad skills to operate at a Level 3 technical support for all hardware, networking and software issues, and proven experience supporting a user community of >1000 people across multiple sites. You should come from a Microsoft heavy tech stack in your prior roles and be a team player with a positive demeanor & enthusiastic attitude to your craft.
