Network Administrator

The Opportunity Our client within utilities is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join their infrastructure team for a 12 month fixed-term contract, working across corporate and operational technology networks.
The Role As a Network Administrator you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include: Leading the upgrade of switches, routers, firewalls and other network devices.
Managing vendor relationships and support agreements.
Maintaining and reviewing architectural documentation of network assets.
Providing technical support and training to internal stakeholders with varying levels of IT knowledge.
Installing network hardware at remote assets across Queensland.
About You In order to be a successful applicant you will have demonstrated experience working in network administration.
You will also have: Proven Configuration and Management of Palo Alto Next Gen Firewall and Cisco Meraki Demonstrated proficiency in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure Strong Cloud Computing Connectivity understanding, preferably Azure & Express Route Industry certification preferably PCNSE, PCNSA, PCSFE, CMSS, CCNA, CCNP, Network+ (or similar) Excellent communications skills & vendor management experience Open Class Drivers License (Unrestricted) mandatory Benefits 12-month fixed term contract Work in a highly engaging and collaborative team Flexible working environment, with 2-3 days per week in the office for workshops & team collaboration Please apply by upload your current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
