The Riverland / Mildura Area Sales Manager is responsible for servicing Netafim's dealers and grower network (as allocated) and collaborating with the sales team to provide expert advice for business development activities and for managing assigned projects.
Technical Services activities to be undertaken as determined from time to time.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide expert sales support to the assigned re-seller network.
Work proactively toward achieving agreed sales targets/budgets.
Work closely with Operational Managers to follow up on order management.
Follow up of all orders to ensure delivery and payment.
Appointment of new re-sellers (when required) as well as searching and opening of new markets and areas for marketing of Netafim products and services within the assigned territory.
Identifying new clients and opportunities to generate contracts, projects, and sales.
Preparation, presenting and promoting, Netafim products, proposals and agreements to clients and working alongside with our partner Netafim Services where required.
Initiate and carry out field days, seminars, and specific and value adding training to dealers and growers.
Maintain regular "hands on" approach with client base with an attitude based around customers for life.
Participate in market development activities with the sales team as required.
Provide regular written updates and verbal reports.
Submit quotes, utilizing Salesforce for customers requiring special pricing.
Prepare preliminary design work when required or approved by the company.
