The Sustainability & ESG Services business delivers a broad range of sustainability advisory; certification; reporting; and asset optimization services for Cushman & Wakefield's clients. This role is focused on engineering and technical optimization projects, helping clients move towards and achieve Net Zero for their portfolio.Job Description PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The role has responsibility for:
• Growth: Growing the business with existing and new clients
• Partnering: Forming strong internal partnerships across business lines, particularly with our Project Management, FM, and Asset Services divisions. This will create win-win-win scenarios for our clients, and internal teams working together.
• Managing and mentoring: Overseeing and managing the delivery team, currently 4-5 FTE. Mentoring the team, growing their skills, expanding our services, and ensuring quality is maintained.
• Quality: Setting the standards for service delivery, continuous refinement and optimization of key processes to improve quality and reduce costs, scaling best practices, and standardized delivery
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Strong commercial acumen, understanding the Sustainability and broader business P&Ls Ability to ensure profitability of services delivered, and think big in terms of creating positive impact.Experience managing budgets, and acting responsibly and decisively to unlock growth.KEY SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES: • Works independently, uses initiative, and exercises sound judgment
• Displays a "can-do" and solution-focused attitude
• Excellent people, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: • Technical- engineering or design background
• Solutions selling and business development experience – strongly preferred
• Greater than 10 years of demonstrated experience in sustainability and ESG in the real estate industry
• Team management experience
• Excellent people, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships
• Demonstrates understanding and use of positive stakeholder management approaches
• Collaborative, team player
