Operations Manager - South Australia (Permanent Full-time) Cocoon SDA Care: We are an innovative, dynamic, and forward-thinking registered NDIS Provider with an exciting opportunity.

We provide support services throughout Victoria.
Our brand new, state-of-the-art, Platinum level SDA homes are in high demand areas, close to transport and medical facilities.
An exciting opportunity is available for an Operations Manager to manage, mentor, and oversee the day-to-day running of our branch in Melbourne, Victoria and provide supervision and support to a team of up to 10 admin staff and more than 100 disability support workers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Key aspects of the position include (though not limited to) the following: Providing leadership and supervision to a team of staff across a service region.Coordinate and manage the daily operations of support services, including the provision of formal supervision and management of a team of Managers, officers, and Disability Support Workers.Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including clients, families, carers, and the community.Oversee and drive achievement of both the operational and financial outcomes for Centre-based and specialist disability accommodation services within the portfolio.Manage the delivery of services to ensure clients, services, and business plan goals are achieved.Ensure that best practice client-facing processes and practices are implemented.Ensure that there are processes in place to manage acute care and/or behavior-related incidents.Ensure the number of clients or occasions of service meets business plan expectations.Be a strong ambassador for the Cocoon Group.Ensure the professional growth and development of staff, making sure position descriptions for all staff are kept up-to-date and provide staff with clear role expectations, career training and development, and career growth opportunities.Identify and recommend opportunities to increase team engagement.Monitor and manage service delivery and performance against targets and budgets.Model and implement a culture of continuous improvement that will improve the customer experience.Participate in the monthly review of financial results with the finance team.Maintain cash flow in the business by ensuring billing is done on time and invoices are followed up and paid on time.Work collaboratively with other managers to ensure that policies, procedures, and forms are aligned to activities and service delivery models of practice.Liaise with the NDIS regarding reportable incidents and incident management.Comply with relevant statutory regulations, funding agreements, and accreditation standards.Maintain and develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including funding and accreditation bodies.Ensure the team complies with Disability Services Act Standards, other relevant legislation, and Cocoon Group policies.Develop a productive working relationship with stakeholders to facilitate the work reportable incidents handling functions, and the Commission more broadly.Liaise regularly with Service Managers regarding any issues or improvements.Support the training and education function in identifying incidents and neglect of people with disability.Manage all incidents reported to the commission in a timely manner.Engage with providers and related authorities on minor and major incidents (including deaths).Escalate incidents for investigation where necessary.Analyze information during the reportable incident process to advise on trends and risks to organize.Contribute to the documentation of processes and procedures to support the implementation, operation, and monitoring of the complaints and incident handling function.Manage conflict, provide coaching and development opportunities, and address performance issues within your team.Participate in the review and maintenance of industry-specific and internal audit processes.Ensure the reputation and integrity of Cocoon Group is always maintained.Maintain confidentiality.Handle all kinds of complaints in a professional manner and respond to those complaints within 24 hours.Skills & Experience: To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following:
