This position involves coordinating and leading daily operations of supported employment services, collaborating closely with various departments within Brite (such as Pak, Plants, and Institute) to create and implement initiatives that enhance employability and vocational skills for participants.Key aspects of the role include leadership and coordination of the employment coaching team, program development, employee skills development, quality and safeguard compliance, internal and external stakeholder engagement, team development and support, and cross-department collaboration.Position responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Employment Coaching team to deliver high-quality, person-centered services aligned with NDIS standards.Collaborate with the Manager – NDIS Employment and Training to develop and execute training and vocational programs aimed at increasing the employability of participants within and outside Brite's enterprises.Coordinate with Brite's internal departments to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to participant support, focusing on cross-departmental synergies that balances the needs of NDIS participants and Brite's commercial business operations.Schedule daily supports including 1:1 support, tours, and interviews.Work collaboratively with the Employment Transition Lead to facilitate school engagement through work experience and site tours to provide growth opportunities in supported employment and pathways programs.Oversee work trial training, Group Leader and Buddy Program supports, and education to ensure all criteria have been completed.Work collaboratively with Pak and Plants Departments to ensure employees have access to training and upskilling opportunities as determined by EAP goals and work opportunities.Assist and support Manager – NDIS Employment and Training as required.Knowledge, skills, and experience:Proven experience in a leadership role, developing a strong cohesive team.Minimum three years' experience in a relatable field of endeavour. Disability Employment and/or RTO related experience highly regarded.Passion and commitment to utilise expertise to grow Brite's community impact.Results driven whilst employing empathy, compassion, and understanding.Formal qualifications (Cert IV in Disability and/or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalents).Demonstrated ability to work with people with disabilities and/or those facing disadvantage.Working knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to facilitate teamwork and foster cooperation using influence, tact, discretion, and impartiality across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Highly flexible, creative problem solver, with a strong ability to prioritise multiple, and on occasion, competing priorities.Consistently exhibit integrity, composure, common-sense, and good judgment under pressure.Demonstrated commitment in delivering high-quality work within best practice, safety, and continual improvement frameworks.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Highly effective skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); proficient knowledge of Office 365 SharePoint will be highly regarded.Willing to undertake relevant NDIS Worker Clearance Screening.Current Australian drivers' licence.A personal alignment with the values of Brite.Commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, specifically, Article 27 Work and employment and recognition of the right of persons with disabilities to work on an equal basis with others.Additional Requirements:Current drivers' licence.NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.Working with Children Check.About Brite:For over 47 years, Brite has been creating meaningful employment and training opportunities in our community.
