The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare.
As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability.
For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need.
The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian.

The affirmative measure positions are to improve employment opportunities for people with a disability in the Australian Public Service.
A new role awaits The Performance, Workload Planning, and Quality Branch ensures a high-quality participant experience by implementing Continuous Improvement (CI), a Performance Management Framework (PMF), and various performance management activities.
This branch evaluates the consistency and quality of operational activities against established standards, procedures, and practices throughout the participant value chain.
Additionally, the branch identifies key trends and insights, sharing these with Service Delivery to enhance performance and quality through a Continuous Improvement framework.
The EL2 Director Quality is a crucial leadership role within the NDIA, holding delegated authority and responsibility to address issues and risks across a wide range of detailed activities.
This role involves providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management, and decision-making for team members and assigned contractors.
The position demands a high degree of independence, utilizing advanced decision-making and judgment.
The role also requires coordinating and overseeing highly complex or sensitive projects and work programs that have strategic or operational significance to the NDIA.
Where you can add value The EL2 Director Quality is tasked with initiating, establishing, and maintaining robust relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
When necessary, this role will represent and negotiate on behalf of the NDIA to promote its interests in cross-agency, inter-jurisdictional, and other forums.
Oversight of quality management systems for external Partners in the Community.
Ensuring consistent and transparent quality management processes.
Leading a team to deliver a high performing Partner Quality framework.
Analysis and syntheses of information to identify key continuous improvement opportunities.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to discuss and prioritise key quality priorities Enough about us, let's talk about you Essential skills and attributes for effectively performing the duties of this role: Ability to lead a team independently to deliver results.

We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
