This opportunity will suit an experienced Telecommunications Designer. This is your chance to join a national infrastructure & construction organisation, opening up your career path to involvement in multi-million dollar projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, prioritise, prepare, and monitor the timely completion of Desktop Designs.End-to-end design in FTTN/FTTP technology.Engage and coordinate with field personnel to validate proposed designs, including editing and updating designs to reflect modifications and additions.Provide technical support to construction teams and other design team members.Use Map Info Files to enable the preparation of Desktop Designs.Use AutoCAD to prepare detailed design drawings suitable for construction.What We're Looking ForProficient in the use of Mapinfo and SpatialNET.Preparing FTTP & FTTN designs (2 years minimum experience).Proficient in the use of GIS Software.Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.Proficient in the use of MS Excel & Word.Familiar with NBN UFA design standards.Good understanding of construction methods.Visa sponsorship considered.
