Due to Navantia Australia's ongoing success, we have exciting opportunities for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineers at all levels to join the team out of its Garden Island, Sydney office. Operating under the Design Support Contractor (DSC) contract, you will be responsible for delivering ILS artefacts in support of tasks/projects regarding Navantia designed naval ships. Naval ships supported include:
• Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR)
Your responsibilities will include: Conduct of Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) including Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Task Analysis (TA). Update or develop Preventive Maintenance Documents (PMDs) and Technical Maintenance Plans (TMPs) as required by tasking statements. Update Defence technical manuals as required, ensuring compliance with Defence standards (DEF(AUST) 5000 and 5629). Codification and Cataloguing items of supply utilising MC Catalogue and MILIS. Update of Assembly Parts Lists (APLs) and allowances in NAVALLOW. Conduct of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis. Spare parts analysis and optimisation. Provide ILS advice and support based on relevant experience and knowledge. Manage ILS related Minor Changes, including the development of a project plan, schedule, deliverables and engagement of internal and external stakeholders. Support the development of junior members of the ILS team. As the ideal candidate, you will have: Bachelor's degree - Engineering is preferred. Understanding of ILS processes, in particular those used in Navy Sustainment. Understanding of Systems Engineering, and more specifically, how Logistics Engineering fits within Systems Engineering processes. Knowledge of Naval publication standards (DEF(AUST) 5000) Knowledge of Naval systems (such as Configuration Management Tool-Unified (CMT-U), Asset Management and Planning System (AMPS) and Navy Allowances Database (NAVALLOW). Strong technical documentation development skills Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment. Ability to manage, prioritise and complete multiple tasks concurrently. Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships at all levels of the business and Clients.
