IT Technical Project and Integration Lead Full time

As the IT Technical Project Lead, you will work with IT and business stakeholders to define and deliver engineering transformation including 3DX implementation to the Engineering functions. Leading the technical delivery of the solutions including working with various engineering teams across Ford business to deliver solutions that will drive Engineering efficiencies that will support design, engineering and build on the #1 selling vehicle in Australia, Ranger. The role will report into the PD IT Manager and sits within the Asia Pacific Product Development Centre, located in Campbellfield, Victoria.
This is a hybrid role, and as the customers are always at the heart of what we do, weekly travel to our Campbellfield head office is required. This role provides the opportunity to be an integral part of building the next generation of vehicles and exposure to a diverse range of stakeholders across the globe. Main Responsibilities
Drive technology transformation by actively working with stakeholders and IT teams (local, regional, and global) in delivering engineering transformation by implementing 3DX including implementation of the local infrastructure requirements in Australia and India, migration and training support required to drive project timelines. Stay at the forefront of technology, leverage partnerships and events, think creatively, and work with agility, while taking an industry-leading approach that will increase engineering efficiencies in the Digital transformation journey. Seek to understand industry trends and challenge the status quo with innovative ideas including leading on experiences, focusing on the implementation of the 3DX functionalities including legacy apps integration, identify risks and create risk mitigation plans to ensure timely completion of the projects. Develop Project Plans, define the scope, goals, and deliverables for areas of technology application development and implementation by continuing to collaborate with IT teams, technology vendors, and internal stakeholders across different areas of business. Manage technology product goals and forecast including collaborating with technical development teams to define and translate the long-term objectives into actionable technology strategy and an implementation roadmap. Bachelor's degree in business - Information system, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Engineering. Min. 3 years of experience as Project Manager, working on complex and large-scale projects. Background in software and engineering discipline with 3DX experience (modelling, Methods, SysMLS, development, and configuration) is highly desirable. Effective communication, negotiation, and related skills. Proven analysis skills to identify solutions that provide measurable business value. Experience in data migration projects, preferably in the ematrix, Enovia and 3D Space domains. Ability to provide technology-based expertise and use of data integration to influence stakeholders at all levels to drive results and meet expected project outcomes and timings.
