Position Overview We seek a dynamic and results-oriented National Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the National Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating key customer relationships, and expanding our market presence.
The role can be located in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.Ensure customer and territory activities are in line with the company growth strategy and company business plans.Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to optimise performance and productivity.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to monitor performance against targets.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.Please note: Frequent intra-state and occasional interstate travel (as well as occasional overseas travel) are a requirement of the position.Key Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the renewable energy, power generation, or industrial automation industry.Working knowledge and experience in the power generation field including experience with diesel and gas generator control systems, and an understanding of hybrid systems including battery and solar.ComAp (or similar) product knowledge and system design experience.An understanding of electrical systems and electrical power system design and interpretation, including the ability to read Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).An understanding of grid protections.Familiarity with technical specifications and commercial conditions in tender documents, costing and bid preparation.Proven track record of managing a team to exceed sales targets.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to interpret market data and formulate effective sales strategies.A current driver's licence.A valid passport (for occasional overseas travel).Why ComAp?
