Job Summary: The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for all consumer sales channels in Australia, from developing strategies and tactics to improve our footprint in all Retail and Ecom channels to expand our portfolio and increase revenue. As part of this role, you will handle a set of retail and Ecom key accounts in order to get the most efficient coverage of our channel partners and manage our plans to expand into additional market and customer segments.
Specific Responsibilities: Manage the Australian consumer channel including all Retail and Ecom Accounts JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks that account for approx. 75% of revenues. Manage other retail and Ecom partners. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customer HQ staff. Expand our online and store presence for all product categories and establish clear KPIs and a compelling performance tracking system. Develop and execute a strategy to expand into new customer segments and markets for our solutions. Create quarterly sales promotion and marketing plans in line with our strategic product goals to drive end-user demand and increase customer visibility, awareness, and sales. Manage key distributors (Synnex and Dicker Data) and improve their efficiency. Ongoing review and analysis of sales and marketing trends, market share, and competition. Develop strategies and execute on our key performance metrics such as number of stores, products per store, in-house share, shelf space, and expansion including additional placements and new product introductions. Regular alignment with our finance team to ensure tight cost control and improve customer profitability. Skills/Qualifications: Graduated studies at University or similar practical education and experience on the job. Minimum eight years of sales experience to Consumer Channels in Australia and reliable relationships with the most relevant Consumer Electronics retail customers. High affinity to Information Technology and Consumer Electronics (products and solutions). Autonomous, self-motivated, and results-driven personality. Structured work procedures and a high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and highly energetic, very good presenter and relationship-building skills. Analytical and used to work with sales numbers in all details. Adaptive to change, open to learn and keep up with product and solution knowledge in a highly innovative and fast-moving market. Digitally fluent with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and various online reporting tools.
