ABOUT THIS POSITION:
As the National Production Manager, you will be responsible for the production, warehouse, and logistics operations across our Brisbane and Melbourne warehouses. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, initiative, positive attitude, motivation and the ability to think outside the box.
The position is based in our Gaythorne, Brisbane warehouse, travel to our Fitzroy, Melbourne production facility will be regularly required.
As National Production Manager your role will include:
· Daily planning and organising of production
· Communicating with and managing production teams
· Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
· Leasing with Director, sales, production and warehouse teams
· Ensuring orders are fulfilled as per Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
· Flexibility to be hands on in all areas of the warehouse
· Communicating and building relationships with third parties
· Ensuring work health and safety regulations are met
· Ensuring quality control standards are met
· Ensuring daily/weekly production outputs are met
· Implementing and managing efficiency and production improvements
· Supervising and managing production/warehouse staff
· Training of new staff
· Knowledge and ability to maintain print machinery
· Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
Analyse production data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Health and Safety Compliance: In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance with manufacturing principles.
This National Production Manager is the link between the Director, sales, and production teams ensuring communication between all areas. This position requires a self- motivated individual with a positive attitude. As this is a new position, there is much room for growth and development for the right person.
