The Position
Due to ongoing growth of the business, the new National Parts Manager role has been created. This role will focus on leading and supporting a national parts team, setting strategic goals, and creating innovative sales plans to drive growth. The position will aim to increase efficiency and profitability of the parts business along with enhancing customer experience.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director and other departments to optimise inventory and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage a national team of Parts Managers, Parts & Inventory Managers, Parts Interpreters, After Sales BDM and Warehouse & Logistics staff. Developing and executing an annual parts sales plan. Managing inventory levels and ensuring efficient logistics. Leading a team to meet national sales and customer service goals. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients and suppliers. Overseeing financial performance for the parts department and contributing to business development. Involvement in OS supplier and parts procurement

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a background in parts management and customer service, ideally from the heavy machinery (or truck, automotive, ag) industry, with a strong focus on business development and sales strategy, staff management, inventory control and efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
At least 5 years of experience in parts management, with inventory control expertise. Proficiency in dealer management systems (preferably Titan DMS) and MS Office. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building effective teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
