This is a newly created role as a result of the continued strong growth of the business. The National Operations Manager will report through to the Director of Operations and will support the operational functions across 7 branches in Australia and New Zealand.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated National Operations Manager that is ready to hit the ground running and support performance and efficiencies across all operational functions of the business. They will demonstrate a strong work ethic, proven leadership skills, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will also have a strong safety focus with qualifications in WHS.
This role will be based at our Epping Head Office with a mid-January commencement.

Responsibilities As the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing all operational aspects of the business. This role will involve enhancing productivity and efficiency in equipment and personnel management and ensuring the operation of the business on a national level.
Key tasks will include:
Leading, motivating, and supporting a national team across 7 branches in AU and NZ within a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment.Managing data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.Partnering with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.Ensuring compliance with WH&S regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.Developing, implementing and maintaining an Integrated Safety Management Manual along with related elements such as SWMs, SOPs, standardised toolbox talks, and safety training modules.Overseeing materials and inventory.Conducting budget reviews and report cost plans.Developing and implementing operational strategies and procedures aligned with business objectives and plans.Managing and mentoring a team of logistics professionals, identifying workforce needs to meet future demands.Managing the purpose of medium to high value asset purchases, ensuring the best possible price and service efficiencies (i.e. Utilities, Trucks, Racking).Managing all Insurance Claims for all relevant portfolios.Managing the servicing and maintenance of the fleets – Trucks, Cars, Forklifts.Warehouse Safety and Compliance reporting.Overseeing National Stocktakes in conjunction with Supply Chain Manager.Supporting the HQ Warehouse Operations.Branch Facilities Management.RequirementsFive or more years of proven success in a National Operations Management role.Minimum of a Certificate IV in WHS, ideally a Diploma in WHS.Strong skills in budget development and oversight.Proficient in conflict management and business negotiation processes.Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications.Excellent attention to detail and operational excellence.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.Ability to forward plan and prioritise workload effectively.A current driver's license is required, and a forklift license is preferred.Teamwork and collaboration skills.Adaptability skills.Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated organisational and planning skills.Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovations.Monday to Friday - no weekends or night work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
