The Opportunity: As the National Manager - Maintenance and Mould Shop, you will be responsible for the asset management of Humes' current operational assets across 13 sites nationally. This includes:
Asset identification Safety compliance Maintenance scheduling Equipment fabrication and modifications You will also hold day-to-day operational leadership responsibilities for the Adelaide based Mould Shop team to support the greater business through setting KPI-based targets, fostering cultural change initiatives, and implementing staff development programs aimed at continuous improvement. Further and detailed responsibilities are as follows:
Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, driving targeted safety behaviours and achieving safety targets. Developing and implementing improvement plans to drive innovation in asset development. Enhancing asset utilisation and decreasing production costs. Managing financial targets and monitoring variations to budget and proactively managing costs. Cultivating effective business relationships with internal customers and maintaining industry intelligence on best practices. Incorporating quality assurance into all processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of asset management. Facilitating suitable duties for injured workers and complying with return-to-work obligations. About You: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related disciplines are preferred. Strong background in implementing LEAN/ Continuous Improvement initiatives in manufacturing i.e. Automotive, FMCG, Industrial or related sectors. Experience in production or asset management roles within a team-based environment. Demonstrated knowledge of Preventative Maintenance programs and related improvement initiatives. Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
