Combined with its strong go-to-market strategy, commitment to customer service, and unique intellectual property, Farmbot is helping farmers think differently about how they manage their water ecosystems and related infrastructure, enhancing productivity, profitability, and sustainability in many Australian agri-businesses.Farmbot's award-winning technology is designed for quick installation by the customer without technical support. Its monitors work globally by utilizing leading satellite networks or can connect to local cellular networks if available. The monitors' real-time alerts instantly inform customers of water level trends, changes, and issues via SMS, email, and/or the Farmbot cloud dashboard.Farmbot's core focus is on water for livestock, with high adoption in cattle and sheep grazing activities across the state. It is now expanding its core water monitoring offering to a range of its own and other third-party technology, including sensors for rainfall, flow, pressure, cameras, pump control, trough monitors, and more.The company's software platform gathers data from its on-farm monitors and converts it to actionable insights that inform better farm management decisions and actively engage customers for better asset and resource utilization.Purpose of the RoleBuild and nurture strong relationships with key corporate stakeholders, including CEOs, association leaders, business owners, and regional managers. Your ability to understand their needs and deliver exceptional value will be pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence. Engage deeply with senior decision-makers, forging lasting connections and securing high-value, long-term, repeatable sales.About YouA well-presented, articulate communicator with outstanding negotiation and leadership skills.Proven sales ability, including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and excellent communication skills.Known and with a network in the Australian cattle/sheep/agriculture industry.Strong client presentation delivery and demonstration skills.Ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs.Proven account management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients.Renewing contracts for ongoing sales.Representing the company as a brand ambassador at industry and client events.Hands-on, customer-facing role to establish productive and professional relationships with customers.Partner with senior staff to ensure customer needs are understood and expectations are aligned with delivery capacity.Present product development opportunities inspired by client feedback or market insights that could benefit multiple customers.Achieve monthly sales targets.Desirable Experience and SkillsPrevious experience in managing large key accounts and winning new customers/projects in the agriculture industry.Strong industry knowledge, specifically within livestock.We have an agile approach to all aspects of Farmbot's product development and operations, and we look to all team members to provide input and ideas to continually improve every aspect of the business.
