National Design & Services Manager

The opportunity As the National Design & Services Manager at Hindmarsh, you will operate at a national level and be responsible for leadership of the design and services management functions.
Reporting to the National Construction Manager, you will: Develop, maintain and implement the Hindmarsh Design Management plan Work with project teams nationally to ensure that Hindmarsh design and services management requirements, systems and processes are understood and implemented on all projects Manage Design Managers and Services Managers across the business, including overseeing workforce resource planning Actively support the Design Team in business development events, including representing the company with industry bodies and associations Lead Hindmarsh's strategy and approach to sustainability and embodied carbon Required skills and experience Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management 10+ years of proven experience within a building contractor (Tier 1 or Tier 2) in a Design Manager, Design Consultant or Project Manager role Experience across a range of project types (commercial, education, health, data centres, industrial), and on projects exceeding $50M+ Proven capability in cost planning and pricing value management strategies Advanced knowledge of relevant construction legislation, codes and regulations Competent using Aconex, Bluebeam, and other construction software programs Advanced user of CAD and BIM technology About Hindmarsh For more than four decades, Hindmarsh Construction has completed many landmark buildings across Australia, with total project value exceeding $6 billion.
