About The Role Our Wireless and Special Coverage Solutions team within our Telecommunications sector have an amazing opportunity to join Ventia as ourNational Construction Manager.
In this position, you will provide leadership to a team of multidiscipline construction personnel, coordinating resources to support project execution, delivering to budget, scope and timelines ensuring quality specifications and safety.
As a key senior leader in our Telecommunications business, you will have the ability influence a market leading approach to delivery of critical infrastructure.
You will require a combination of advanced people management and construction knowledge as well as the relevant demonstrated experience in a similar role.
You will proactively forecast, plan and review construction work with our project personnel in accordance with Program of work, and ensure we are meeting and exceeding our contractual requirements and obligations.
You will also be a critical influence in supporting our growth pillars within Safety, Quality and Profitability.
This role is flexible with location and offers hybrid working with time in the office, work from home, and travelling to site.

About You: Relevant Tertiary qualifications within Engineering/Construction or equivalent experience within these disciplines.
Proven experience with delivery of national construction projects at scale with successful outcomes on major complex works.
Steadfast commitment to workplace health and safety initiatives and outcomes.
Well-developed communication and commercial acumen.
Exceptional people leader with exposure to management of diverse teams.
