In this role, you will be responsible for achieving Sales and Margin targets on all customers and developing plans to ensure the future profitable growth of the business on all fronts. Responsibilities:Identify and target key retail and supermarket chains for product distribution, develop strategic sales plans to achieve market penetration and sales growth, and build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, both internally and on the customers' end.Manage end-to-end sales processes, including new customer acquisition, negotiations, contract management, and closing deals, to achieve sales targets and KPIs.Liaise with NPD managers to actively participate in new product development and launch based on customer requirements and insights gathered on the ground.Manage launch and de-list calendar with the site team and customers.Communicate Order Fill and other supply challenges to customers, and follow up on discrepancies.Monitor raw material supply issues and production-related concerns.Conduct weekly pricing maintenance and cross-check with customers to ensure site pricing accuracy.Report sales vs budget weekly explaining any deviations and also work on other ad hoc weekly/monthly reports, both internal and client-side, required for better visibility for the key stakeholders.Work closely with the Category Head, Commercial & Site teams to manage the P&L, i.e.
drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the Australian market.Champion a demand-driven business model, ensuring alignment and understanding across the value chain.Stay on top of market competition including making frequent visits to supermarkets, retailers, etc.Ideal ProfileYou possess a Bachelor's or Honors' Degree in Food Science, Business Management, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in senior commercial roles preferably in FMCG, food retail, or food manufacturing.A proven track record of selling into supermarkets and retail chains, with an established network within this segment in Australia is highly preferred.You possess strong P&L management skills with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.You are passionate about the food industry and committed to building a successful business in a new market.You also possess excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.You can work independently and drive business growth with an entrepreneurial mindset.We are looking for a self-starter with a high degree of initiative and independence, who can adapt to shifting market demands.What's on Offer?Leadership opportunity to be a pioneer in our Australian operations with significant growth potentialCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesDynamic and entrepreneurial work environment
