The Role:
As the National Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing relationships with national retail customers (Coles, Woolworths, David Jones, Myer, Pharmacy, Rebel Sports and more) as well as driving business development. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of existing key accounts, implement effective sales strategies, and penetrate new markets while nurturing existing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities: Formulate and implement strategic plans to achieve sales objectives and enhance profitability. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key retail partners, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies. Conduct range reviews, joint business plans (JBP), price negotiations, seasonal planning, liaise with Buyers and Category Managers. Work closely with various internal teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, to optimise customer engagement and drive revenue growth. Lead regular performance reviews with key accounts to uncover new opportunities and address challenges. Manage the integration process for new accounts, ensuring a smooth transition and operational efficiency. Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess opportunities and return on investment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills. A customer-centric approach with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Salary: $140K-$160K + Super & bonus
