Customer-facing roles.Growing revenue and market share.Delivering results and problem solving.Understanding multiple customers, go-to market strategies, structure and business practices.Negotiating and influencing skills.Planning and execution.Key accountabilities include: Supporting the National Account Manager to ensure an effectively communicated, coordinated and focused sales effort against key commercial priorities for the channel.Negotiating with applicable account representatives in the Independents channel, building and maintaining favorable and effective relationships with key customers.Ensuring relevant sales promotions, merchandising, shelf management and national sales programs are communicated to and executed by the field team as required.Ensuring effective implementation of trade funds are managed within budgeted guidelines in line with the customer investment and account claims policy. Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all activity in relevant company systems (e.g. Acumen) to ensure nil disputed claims and to optimize our trade spend efficiency.With the objective of achieving distribution and volume targets established by sales/marketing, develop local and implement national sales programs for each account or segment.Support winning categories by supporting the development of Customer business plans at the National Level.More about this role Experience/what you will bring: Experience in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) Company or fast paced environment.Background in Sales and/or relevant function including account management, finance, marketing or demand/supply planning.Experience with Independents stores is highly regarded.Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Qualifications: Formal qualification in business related discipline or equivalent sales experience (3-5 years).No Relocation support available.
