About the Role NACAP is the government funded National Aged Care Advocacy Program of which ADA Australia is the partner organisation for Queensland. Reporting to the Manager – Aged Care Advocacy in this newly created role of Quality Officer NACAP you will be providing support to staff across our aged care division, ensuring we align with NACAP nationally consistent objectives. The role encompasses staff training and education across Queensland, hence an ability to travel will be required. Responsibilities include Provide engaging training and support to enhance the skills of all NACAP staff. Support the manager to make informed decisions including application of data. Ensure that all statutory requirements are met or exceeded. Act as the key liaison to OPAN on behalf of ADA Australia. Participate in NACAP resource and data design projects. Contribute to network meetings and practice communities. Attend all Advocacy, Operations and Practice Advisory Group meetings. Participate and contribute to quality improvement programs. Maintain up to date understanding of relevant legislation, policies and processes. About you Experience from within the aged care sector or aged care advocacy. Ability to interpret guidelines related to data and best practice service delivery. Ability to communicate complex information, simply and clearly. Experience in data management ensuring accurate data capture and reporting. Strong planning and organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels. Knowledge of the National Aged Care Advocacy Program. Tertiary qualification in human/community services (desirable). Preparedness to travel within Queensland and occasionally interstate. Flexibility to be based anywhere in Queensland, work from home or hybrid office. Valid Australian Driver's license. Current (within 3 years old) Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
