Mid - Senior Full Stack Software Developer Myfoodlink is searching for a Mid to Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our team in our Hobart office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already resides in Tasmania.

This role is 100% based in our Hobart CBD office. You will be provided with all the necessary tools of the trade (hope you like Apple!)

Job Description You will be responsible for building performant, scalable, and sustainable backend application architecture and software on our E-commerce, PIM and Picking Applications.
Identify ongoing improvements in Myfoodlink to improve performance or address operational problems Collaborate with all functions in the business including Product Management, UI/UX Design, Implementation, Onboarding and Support Write clean, maintainable and efficient code, contribute to codebase commits Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, adhering to coding standards) Ensure committed work items are delivered with high quality and on time Building and sustaining imperative systems, bringing fresh ideas to improve and expand the current setup Work with agile methodologies (Scrum) Design robust, scalable and secure customer facing features Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems Contribute to the culture of Myfoodlink by attending events and meetings Types of Skills we are looking for 3+ years commercial full-stack development experience Proven record of writing clean and maintainable code Be comfortable working in a team but also autonomously as an individual contributor Have a keen interest to learn new things and be self-motivated Experience with APIs (Restful) development and integration Deployed web applications on the cloud Experience with NoSQL datastores (ideally MongoDB) Experience/basic skills with Message queues/Batch job processing Experience with TDD/BDD and CI/CD tools Worked with agile development methodologies e.g. Scrum What you'd be doing Working as a mid-senior Ruby on Rails developer responsible for core feature development. Develop and deploy new features for the platform. Troubleshoot and solve technical issues. Support customers.
