With our commitment to professionalism and service excellence, we have grownsignificantly over the decades, making us a leading force in the industry.About the Role:We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position is a critical role within our business, as it is a vital link between our Transport Fleet and more importantlymaintaining fleet performance and compliance for our customers. This role includes the involvement and participation of all workshop activities that will greatly enhance vehicle performance as well as keeping turnaround times to a minimum, along with otherassociated tasks as required for Fleet Maintenance.What the Role Entails:Conduct regular services and perform repairs on vehicles, ensuring timely turnarounds.Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, replacing parts as needed.Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.Manage inventory, ensuring parts and supplies are available and restocked as needed.Assist with breakdown service for company vehicles within designated areas, when rostered on.Maintain workshop cleanliness, organisation, and security.Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance in all repair and maintenance activities.About You:You are a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.You have a strong background in heavy vehicle diesel mechanics, with experience in fleet maintenance and repair.Strong time management skills and a thorough knowledge of vehicle compliance and safety standards.Proactive in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
