Overview of Position As an experienced Multimedia Specialist at Advanced Navigation, your role holds a pivotal place in our dynamic marketing team. You will work under the guidance of our Art Director, collaboratively shaping the visual identity and brand of Advanced Navigation across various marketing channels. Your work will be instrumental in creating impactful visual assets across all brand touch points including web, video and digital environments and various marketing initiatives. By ensuring craft, quality and brand consistency across all mediums, you will contribute to building a strong visual identity that helps build one of Australia's most innovative technology brands and resonates with our global audience, reinforcing Advanced Navigation's position as a leader in the navigation and robotics industry.
Role Responsibilities:Collaborate with the marketing team to design and produce visual assets for trade shows, media, web, and digital-based marketing initiatives.Develop and maintain a consistent visual brand identity for Advanced Navigation across all platforms and mediums.Create attention-grabbing designs for trade show booths, displays, and promotional materials to enhance brand visibility and recognition.Translate complex technical concepts into visually appealing and understandable graphics.Work with the Digital Marketing team in the creation of digital assets.Assist with photography, styling, image selection, and video production, incorporating multimedia content into marketing strategies.Provide creative design advice to help develop appropriate and innovative communication strategies to achieve company objectives.Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and team members.Creation of multimedia presentations and interactive content.Manage, update, and organise multimedia content in the cloud, ensuring accessibility and efficiency.Utilise skills in graphic design, video editing, and animation to enhance digital marketing efforts.Stay updated with the latest multimedia technologies and trends to keep the company's marketing strategies innovative and effective.Coordinate with various departments to gather content and ensure multimedia elements align with project goals and messages.Qualifications, experience and skills: Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, a related field or relevant experienceA strong portfolio showcasing work in both physical and digital brand campaigns.5+ years of experience as a Multimedia Designer, with a proven track record in designing for both physical and digital brand campaigns.Proficiency in creating compelling visuals for web, media and digital environmentsExperience in technology company is an advantageMultimedia Design Expertise: Proficiency in digital design including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, InDesign and After Effects) as well as Animation, SketchFab and or Figma are a bonus. Understanding of web design principles and responsive design is crucial.User Experience (UX) Design: Knowledge of UX principles, including user research, usability testing, and creating user personas. Ability to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.User Interface (UI) Design: Skills in UI design for creating visually appealing and functional interfaces. Understanding of layout, colour theory, typography, and brand consistency.Branding and Visual Identity: Strong grasp of branding principles to ensure consistent brand representation across all mediums. Ability to create and maintain visual identity guidelines.Physical Environment Design: Experience in designing for physical spaces, like retail environments or trade show booths, integrating digital elements with physical design.Cross-Platform Design: Ability to design for various platforms and devices, ensuring a seamless user experience across all touchpoints.What are some of the benefits you will have access to?
