About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multicultural Child Protection Caseworker to join our team in Fairfield, South Western Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work with families from diverse backgrounds, providing support and guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to reports of child harm or safety concerns, prioritizing the safety and well-being of children and young people.Work collaboratively with parents, family members, children, and young people, as well as other agencies, to develop safety plans and complete risk assessments.Provide primary and secondary casework, cultural consultations, and language support to families from diverse backgrounds.Use your cross-cultural skills and expertise to assist families from a range of backgrounds, including Assyrian communities.What We OfferWe offer a rewarding salary from $79,032 to $109,194 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading. You will also have opportunities to work flexibly, receive 17 weeks of industry-leading training in the Caseworker Development Program, and enjoy generous leave entitlements, including flex leave.
